My engine management light has come on. What does this mean?
Firstly you need to check which light it is (View your Owners Handbook for dashboard illustration). The engine management light can be illuminated by many different faults. Pop down to the garage and our technicians will plug our vehicle diagnostics in and diagnose your fault.
How long before my plating renewal do I have to book my MOT?
The MOT can be only be booked up to 2 weeks prior to your NSL test date.
How far either side of a service can my mileage be?
You may have your service carried out up to 500 miles either side of the specified interval. If your service is carried out any earlier or later than this then you may invalidate your warranty.

About Putney Bridge Taxis
As one of London's oldest established Taxi repair garages we have seen most everything there is to see in London taxi maintenance. Other garages often seek out our expertise to help when the going gets tough. We will always aim to get to the root of even the most complex problems and enhance our knowledge of London taxi repairs. Our goal is to get you back on the road and earning money again as soon as possible. Along with our taxi repairs we also try to pass on snippets of our experience to help London cab drivers look after their vehicle as well as they can do.
How We Started
We started over 30 years ago with just one railway arch and dug out our own pits to work from. Over the years we have expanded into neighbouring railway arches and now have a site over 1000 sq/m. Only ever intending to have a London taxi rental fleet of 30 taxis, we are now well over 100 taxis. As we continue to grow year on year, we attract new customers and see customers now coming from great distances to visit us, including some from France! All of our customers are very important to us and we strive to deliver above and beyond. Hopefully this is part of how we have managed to retain many of our customers for the past 30 years and for many years to come.
